Dog Daycare

We accept dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes

If you need a safe and fun place for your dog to stay while you are at work or out running errands, we have you covered!

At Destination Pet, we provide an amazing environment where your dog can socialize and feel safe. When you bring your canine companion in for doggie daycare, they’ll get to know and spend time with other socialized dogs. After a few visits, our facility will start feeling like a second home. You’ll know that from their great big smile and exuberant wagging tail!

Our Dog Daycare Requirements and Services

At Destination Pet of Woodstock, we accept dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes as long as they are in good health and free from communicable diseases and internal and external parasites.

Dogs must be over 6 months of age and spayed or neutered to participate in our daycare programs.

Daycare participants are required to be up to date on their Rabies, DAPP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus), Bordetella, and Canine Influenza vaccinations.

All of these vaccinations can be conveniently administered by our veterinarian. New clients currently receive 50% off their first new client examination with our veterinarian.

What sets us apart? Dogs are separated by size and temperament, and they have their own suite for “naptime” in between playgroups.

We provide everything your pet needs for the day. If you would like to provide lunch for your pet during their daycare play day please feel free to bring it with. We do offer a variety of safe, tasty treats and enrichment experiences. Contact us to inquire about ingredients, pricing, and availability

We take the safety of the pets in our care very seriously, so each dog will be evaluated throughout their first day to ensure they're a good fit for Daycare.

The Importance of Socialization

Proper socialization with other dogs and other humans is critical to having a happy, healthy, and well-adjusted pet. With so many people spending more time at home in 2020, your furry family member may now be home alone for long periods of the day for the first time in a while, and the stress of solitude may cause anti-social habits such as destructive chewing, persistent digging, excessive barking, or other signs of separation anxiety. Pets may also show signs of stress such as drooling, attempts to escape, and pacing.

If your pet is suffering from separation anxiety or simply the boredom of home isolation after many months of company, bring them to daycare with us! Daycare provides your loved one with the pack environment they are accustomed to, creating a trusted second home for your pet while you are away. Bringing your pup to daycare with us provides all the physical, mental, and social exercise your dog needs. Give us a call to learn more about the socialization benefits of daycare.
